Rooms from 5th floor up were all renovated and they are in pristine condition. On the 4th floor which we've stayed a few days ago they were passable. Reception attendants are very well trained and very polite. The restaurant owner wiill do mostly whatever It takes to please you, but do not ask for the pizzas: they are not good and since they come from a third party there is nothing he can do to improve.them. Red wine FOYE, carmenere ou cabernet ate pretty good choices to accompany your meal. Breakfast brings a huge variety of itens including pitaya and grapefruit.

The location is superb; it's practically downtown the Rodoviária (bus station) is almost across from the hotel, and it's very near the Mercado Público, where you can go shopping for souvenirs or simply grab a beer. From just outside the lobby, there is a great view of the bay and the lovely Hercílio Luz bridge. Also, they have a collective of restaurants and bars right next door, called Armazém Rita María, which is quite lively and slightly upscale. The staff was quite friendly and helpful.

The bed was comfortable and the shower was nice. Could hear people outside the hotel but slept through the noise okay.

Staff were extremely nice and friendly, they offered to look after me when I was crossing the street at 5am to go to the bus station. Nice location in front of the bus station. Clean and tidy room. Good breakfast.

Good location by the bus station, public market and Armazém. Nice view from our 11th floor room. Decent breakfast.

The staff were very helpful, we had an early flight so the managed to prepare an early breakfast for us. there was also a valet for the car that we rented and Localiza was few steps away from the hotel.
